Where are the INI''s

okay got the decompressor but i can't find the ini files , where do I find them. need some clue here.

Search your Freelancer directory. I think their all under Freelancer\DATA , but there may be a few isolated ones outside of that.

ok , i found them , now having trouble getting the game to recognize the changes made. the name has .ini at the end of the file but the description still says text. and I checked the game and the changes aren't in there. I'll keep trying tho.
