I'm all for the idea of something like a bank in FL, especially if serverside mod support becomes a reality. It would be extremely useful for Admins who would want to run their servers more like MUDs (after all, the server gamestate is persistant -- pity if nothing could be done to take advantage of that fact).

Well, you can mule stuff to an alt character for safe keeping in either MP or SP.

1. Just get the items you want to transfer into your cargo hold (unequiped).
2. Park the character at a landmark in orbit near Manhattan (or where ever your new character starting point is).
3. Create a "mule" character and fly him to that spot (or what ever character you want the gear moved to).
4. Log in the character with the items and jettison them into space
(be sure not to log out until you can see the items floating as "loot"
5. Log in the mule and tractor them in
(things adrift in space don't vansish right away, but don't wait too long before picking them up...they will poof eventually)

Just remember in MP, anyone can come along and grab the items if they happen by.
