well that wreak is accuallt the engine core of a liberty dreadnought. if you watch closely when one blows up a peice blows off that looks almost exactly like that.
explains the radition too.

The Texas radiation has nothing to do with a Liberty Dreadnought... its from the "Texas Incident", one of the better background stories in FL. You can search the spoiler forums and read about it.

Actually you can even read it in FL rumours in Liberty space (especially Texas)

Liberty was trying to build a jumpgate to Kusari space, but something went wrong. There was a giant explosion. Rumour has it that there were no jumpheles in Texas before the incident.
