The complete scoop on the Sleeper ships
There were 8 sleeper ships all together. The Liberty, The Hispania, The Rhineland, The Kusari, The Britonnia , The Chan, The Buddha, and The Oriental. The Chan, Buddha, and the Oriental were destroyed before they even launched. The other 5 made it into space, broke though the blockade, and jumped to the Sirius system. Now, The Hispania had a Coalition saboteur on board and the Hispania was damaged and it drifted until it reached Omicron Alpha where the Outcasts got off. But the Corsairs got off in the escape pods and landed on another planet a long ways away. Some people say that the old storyline still exists where the "Nomads" or who ever destroyed the sun and everything with it. WRONG! That is apart of the old storyline. The ship flying past the Sleeper ship that was standing up is the remnants of the old storyline. And if you look closely in the game and think about things that make no sense you can fit it in accordingly. For example, this isn't in the game but pay attention. In the Freelancer Data directory there is a file called "Black Hole" This is yet another remnant of the story line. What was meant to happen in the other storyline is the collation is supposed to come back though a black hole and begin attacking the Alliance.

Indeed. Those sound Chinese to me. And there were several Chinese fighter squadrons in the Coalition. Why would the Alliance build sleeper ships that would enable their enemy to survive too?

THANKS MAN! This is a really awesme thread. I dunno about anyone else, but I really think the info presented is pretty awesome. I liked reading it. Makes the FL experience that much more fun. Plus, I thk the Rheinland flag thing is pretty cool =^.^=
