Getting the B5 ship pack to work

Hi all!
For the past few days I've been trying to get the ship pack to work correctly. Instead of tackling the whole pack at once, I've been trying to get the Whitestar ship to work right. I'm having a bit of trouble, though. I finally managed to convert it into a FLMM mod, and it works all the way up through acquiring the ship on Planet Pittsburgh. When I try to take off, however, the game crashes. Anybody know why that's happening? Am I missing a ship model or something? Trias10, I read that you made a successful mod. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
- Walter

I've been exploring the problem a little more. The same thing as I described above (i.e. game crashes when I take off from a planet) when I was trying to use the Large Train Mod for FLMM. Oddly enough, when I use the Klingon Destroyer Mod, the ship is again invisible when I'm on a planet (or in a station), but the game works fine. The only difference i can see is that with the Klingon ship, the weapons mounted on the ship are visible, even though the ship isn't. With the Large Train and the Whitestar, nothing at all showed up. Anyone know what these symptoms might indicate?

I am also having a tough time, and I'm pretty good with computers.
There is a serious lack of information in the read-me files.

I do want to thank and commend the modder. He has a great deal of time in this and did a good job. I even e-mailed him and he was a nice guy with a good reply, but I had trouble translating it. It was still cool of him though. thanks!

Can these mods work with single player?
Is it possible to just add the ships without the entire B5 mod??
Many people have these questions, and everyone will want to add more ships to the game. B5 ships are great and would arouse interest in the entire mod as well.

Indeed, I'm having the same problem....the central problem, appears to be how to integrate the .ini files for the various ships..I'm afraid i have no idea...
Great respect to the creator, i myself am not bi-lingual - so hats off...
I cant help but think, that some sort of easier installation, would really help this take off...
Number of Questions: 1. Does the ship pack work in single player?
2. I'm assuming for multiplayer the creators own server is the necessary destination for these ships to work.?
3. whats the location of (the cheapest) of these ships - in order to test its installed...

Apologies if this sounds a bit gripey - I'm an immense fan of B5 - and this is somewhat frustrating...

Also of note - there are obviously several B5 related mods being created - is there anyone out there, who could unify the information - im after a "Pure" B5 Universe - not polluted with star-wars ships etc...Is there such a thing?

Best Regards...

The problem is that the game, or at least the MP game recognizes it as a cheat. I had the same problem so i went to go check my server log (I was testing it on my private server) and it came up with:
Possible cheating detected (ship related) player, Sliderjedi, and a bunch of numbers. So i have deduced that if I can find the config file that alows me to change cheats from false to true (again, I actually found it before) then i'm guessing that it will work. However just because i found the Cfg file before doesn't mean that there couldn't be a problem with some other file like an ini file. If anyone can find it please test it and if it works and even if it doesn't, spread the word
