What''s the difference between a switch and a workgroup swit

This is where you can discuss your homework, family, just about anything, make strange sounds and otherwise discuss things which are really not related to the Lancer-series. Yes that means you can discuss other games.

Wrong forum Wolf_Demon. This post should be in the Hardware forum.

A workgroup switch usually refers to a layer 2 switch, which to be honest both of these look like. The only difference I can see is that the SD2005 can run at half or full duplex.

nobody goes to the hardware forum

I do, but I only post there when I have something to contribute. Anyway I agree with BigMan; shame Wolfy. Shame!

Bah! Go back to your shadows and its stock of ginger beer

I'll think about it, and stop stealing my expressions! "Bah!" is mine, damn it! *Shakes head in disapproval*

'tis indeed worthy of the hardware forum, which is where it shall be presently. If no-one bothers posting in the hardware forum then obviously no-one's going to look in there, are they?

a workgroup or enterprise switch will generally have more functionality and management options than an ordinary home or small-office switch (or hub.) Muskrat's answer is correct. The Rabbit's contribution was pointless in the extreme, but what else can you expect from a fermentation-filled mutant chimaera?

very good to see you again, Bigman, btw. How's your pet rabbit?

Thank you Tawakalna. I'm not around much because I'm busy working these days. As for the rabbit, I try to keep him under control, but I'm not always successful (you know how he is). You'll be interested to know that you won't see him around until Monday, because one of this relatives is getting married. He was whining about a two-hour car ride and a lack of Ginger Beer at the reception or something, so you can look forward to him mentioning that early next week.
